VAM Systems is currently looking for Product Design Expert (UX/UI) for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:
• Technical skills

Required: Essential skills in order to be successful in the role

•Strong expertise in user centered design and ability to build empathy for the user in every step of design.
•Understand customer interaction steps and behaviour at different touch points.
•Skilled in designing end-end solutions from idea generation to execution with mockups and prototypes to user testing and validation.
•Understanding of metrics and able to have data-driven design decisions by having a strong bias to utilize the data available to build a hypothesis
•Experience in interaction design and ability to translate interaction into meaningful artefacts that can be reused in the products
•Experience in transformational programs with the customer at the heart of it
•Experience in working on designs systems and ability to build and maintain scalable systems.
•Expert at balancing the needs of the customer with the needs of the business by designing solutions that help solve customer problems while achieving business KPIs.
•Experience with working in Agile product development methodologies in cross-functional teams.
•Ability to manage and coordinate own work to meet the business roadmap timelines

Desirable: Advantageous but not necessary

•Knowledge of the telecom industry and emerging technologies
•Experience working in large scale transformation projects
•Experience with running design sprints

Qualifications – Required education, minimum work years experience or language requirements to be successful in the role

•At least 5 years of experience in Product Design in an Agile cross-functional environment
•Excellent command over English both orally and in written communication. Arabic would be a plus.
•Experience in designing for both consumers and business segments.
•Experience in mobile design for both iOS and Android as well as responsive design for web.

The key purpose of the role is to have a person capable of designing end-to-end flows and creating high fidelity designs and prototypes for all the journeys identified for the different phases of the Program, prioritizing the MVP and MLP.

Role scope – Milestones, Responsibilities, Deliverables, End product expectations to be provided

Key deliverables:
D1 – Design user flows and define the information architecture for all customer touchpoints.
D2 – Create high-fidelity designs for mockups based on the defined user journeys and translate them into functional prototypes.
D3 – Define UI design and Interaction design patterns and contribute to building a scalable design system.
D4 – Validate designs through user research and usability tests to ensure all designs match with customer expectation
D5 – reate documentation and specs for handoff to developers to ensure implementation is done as per design.

Milestones:

M1 -Approved end to end design for all touch points for Consumer, Enterprise and Dealers. Including design coverage for edge cases and all unhappy scenarios
M2 -Aligned user flows and information architecture based on the priorities of Greenfield MVP
M3 -Align the experience for post launch and future phases with stakeholders so we build a scalable approach.
M4 -Approved contribution to the design system with components and patterns to build consistent and elegant design across multiple products.

Responsibilities:

•Collaborate effectively with customer experience team to identify user pains and opportunities and contribute to building a journey map and user stories.
•Work cross functionally with Product/Channel leads to identify product pitfalls and opportunities and support with developing a roadmap
•Engages extensively with business and technical leads to implement the designs and ensure a high-quality output.
•Support the business teams in identifying potential A/B testing opportunities for optimizing learnings.
•Liaise with other departments and teams to build a unified brand identity and presence on all digital touchpoints by following existing guidelines or proposing for ways to elevate it.
•Supports the establishment of customer experience KPIs and targets for greenfield.

Terms and conditions

Joining time frame: (15 – 30 days)

The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – UAE and shall be deputed to one of the Organzations in UAE.
